About
PyPV is Python Platform Ventures
PyPV stands for Python Platform Ventures, an independent, Python-focused developer studio. It is built and led by Joseph, with a deliberate focus on infrastructure, automation, self-hosted systems, and AI-agent workflows.
PyPV exists to build practical infrastructure around Python and AI agents. The focus is not demos, wrappers, or hype. The focus is control planes, background systems, operational visibility, and workflows that connect autonomous software with human decisions.
The work is built with FastAPI and Django, and self-hostable by default: systems an operator can run, inspect, and own. That means Python-native control planes for background jobs, network management across vendors, and the handoff layer where long-running agents reach a decision only a human can make.
This is not a consulting agency homepage. PyPV ships its own products. That said, contact is open for serious technical conversations: partnerships, integrations, and infrastructure problems worth solving properly.

How PyPV builds
The same principles hold across every project.
- 01
Operational by default
Every system ships with the visibility operators need: state, history, retries, and live status. If you cannot see it, you cannot run it.
- 02
Self-hostable
Architectures you can run on your own infrastructure. Python with FastAPI and Django at the core, with no mandatory cloud and no vendor lock-in.
- 03
Human-in-the-loop
Automation handles the repeatable work and hands consequential decisions back to people. Agents propose, humans stay in control.
- 04
Built to last
Typed, tested, and deliberately boring where it counts. The goal is infrastructure that runs quietly in production for years, not a demo.
FAQ
Common questions.
-
Is PyPV a consulting agency?
No. PyPV ships its own products. Contact is open for serious technical conversations: partnerships, integrations, and infrastructure problems worth solving properly.
-
Are the projects open source?
FreeSDN is open source and self-hosted. Z4J and ony.ai are in active development. Reach out if you want early access or to collaborate.
-
What stack does PyPV build on?
Python with FastAPI and Django at the core, with PostgreSQL, Redis, and worker pools for execution. Systems are self-hostable by default.
-
Can I self-host these systems?
Yes, wherever possible. Self-hosting is a design goal: run the control planes on your own infrastructure without mandatory cloud services.
